Informations de Base
Block 1: Agriculture Budget Dedicated to Family Farming as Percentage of Total Agricultural Budget

Block 1/3

Please read:

For this block, two datasets will be necessary:

1) Total Agricultural Budget

2) Agricultural Budget Dedicated to Family Farming

For both figures, please convert into U.S. dollars.

Total Agricultural Budget: This should be the annual budget that is allocated to all agricultural spending, including that allocated to rural development, agricultural expenditures, staffing of relevant agencies, etc. Use most up to date figure available, with reference.

Agricultural Budget Dedicated to Family Farming: This should be the amount of the total agricultural budget that is dedicated explicitly to family farming; these can be direct payments, subsidies, retirement schemes, etc. If a budgeted program is available for family farmers and non-family farmers, it will be necessary – if possible – to estimate what portion of the resources are destined for family farmers.

Block 2: Number of Family Farmers with Access to Support Programs

Block 2/3

Please read:

For this block, three datasets will be necessary:

1) Total Number of Family Farmers in Country

2) Family Farmers Who Received Financial Support

3) Family Farmers Who Received Technical Assistance

Total Number of Family Farmers in Country: Using the predominant definition or category that best aligns with the concept of family farming, include the most recent estimate of the total number of family farmers in your country. You will have room to explain this number after you have entered it.

Family Farmers Who Received Financial Support: Here, we are looking for the number of family farmers who have received financial support, according to the latest and best available data. If this data is disaggregated by sex, please enter those numbers where prompted.

Family Farmers Who Received Technical Assistance: Here, we are looking for the number of family farmers who have received technical assistance, according to the latest and best available data. If this data is disaggregated by sex, please enter those numbers where prompted.

Note: If you only have data for financial support or technical assistance, simply enter the data you have available. Leave blank the questions where you do not have available data.

Block 3: State Support to Small-Scale Farmers

Block 3/3

For this block, you will be asked to respond to questions in two different ways: some questions will be answered Yes (Y), No (N) or in cases that they don't apply as Not Applicable (N/A). Other questions will be answered on a scale of 0-3, according to descriptions available next to the possible responses.

Please choose the response that best represents the situation in your country.

Under each response, you will be provided with a space to add references and detail to justify your response.
